About
About me
I am a creative, young public relations professional, excited to engage with others to create unique opportunities within the field of communications.
My creativity and familiarity with digital tools allow me to produce unique products that accurately represent a brand’s message. I am passionate about utilizing social media to encourage authentic communication between brands and their target audience. I enjoy finding innovative ways to solve problems within the field of public relations.
Working at Porter Teleo Wallpaper Company expanded my creativity and fostered an appreciation for fine details. Beginning as a member of the samples team, I was responsible for cutting rolls of hand-painted wallpaper and fabric into smaller sample-sized pieces and subsequently labeling, organizing, packing, and shipping sample orders to clients worldwide. This task required me to be highly detail-oriented to ensure all samples accurately represented the product. The following summer, I was promoted to a member of the production team. Here I worked with other artists to create hand-painted wallpaper and fabric orders. These orders needed to be cohesive, professional, and representative of the company.
The following summer, I earned a sales internship at Porter Teleo. I managed an email campaign contacting worldwide designers regarding Porter Teleo’s products. I learned the importance of customer relations and practiced maintaining the brand’s tone and key messages. By working at each level of marketing, I understand the complexities of different campaigns.
In my free time you will find me reading, baking, or crocheting like a mad woman. On the weekends, my friends and I love exploring Chicago, searching for the city’s best coffee shops and bookstores. In a perfect world, I would spend every night screaming my lungs out at a concert. However, I spend most evenings at home having movie nights with friends and laughing over the latest stupid internet trends.
